No. Your PATH single ride fare is $2.75 no matter which way you pay. During the TAPP Pilot, you will only be able to use TAPP to pay for single ride fares.
No. Currently, each use of TAPP is charged the full one-way PATH fare. Senior fare and other products will become available with the launch of the TAPP Full Pilot (Phase 3). The date of TAPP Full Pilot launch is to be determined. An overview of the TAPP Pilot deployment schedule appears on the TAPP homepage.
Yes. Both MetroCard and SmartLink will continue to be available for use at turnstiles without the new TAPP readers until a final SmartLink transition date is determined.
Yes. You can continue to use SmartLink, MetroCard and single-ride PATH tickets until the TAPP rollout is complete.
SmartLink will continue to be accepted throughout the TAPP rollout. The end date of SmartLink is still to be determined by PATH.
